Training Heroes

Training Heroes

The hero training system is one of the main features of this game. Actions such as Attack, Hunt, or Collect are all performed by dispatching heroes. The hero's abilities will affect the units that the hero leads.

Hero Specialties

Each hero has a Specialty, and when the hero is commanding a unit that matches their Specialty, the unit's abilities will be boosted.

Hiring Heroes

To hire a hero, you must first construct a Tavern. A Level 1 Tavern can be used to hire two heroes, and the number of heroes increases by one each time the Tavern's level rises. The available heroes are updated once every 24 hours, so if you don't like the abilities of the heroes that are available in the Tavern, you must wait until the next day. However, it is possible to use a Diamond Function to immediately refresh the available heroes.

Leveling Up Heroes

Heroes can go up in level by getting experience attacking Devil Castles, hunting (in Forests, Swamps, Mountains and Hills), or attacking other players. When your hero's Exp. Points reach a certain point, you must click "Level Up." (If you do not, your character will not level up.) Each time your hero levels up, he or she will get one Ability Point.

Hero Abilities

Heroes have Basic Abilities and Combat Abilities. When your hero goes up in level, you can assign the points obtained to the hero's Basic Abilities. The effects that Basic Abilities have on heroes are as follows:

Basic AbilityEffect on Hero
Stamina1 Stamina Point = 100 Life
Power1 Power Point = 10 Physical Attack
Agility1 Agility Point = 5 Physical Defense + 1 Movement Speed
Intelligence1 Intelligence Point = 10 Magical Attack
Spirit1 Spirit Point = 5 Magical Defense
Charm1 Charm Point = 1 Scout Power + 0.2% Critical chance

[Assigning Ability Points]
Depending on the value of the ability in question, the number of points required to raise it by one point will differ.

Ability ValueRequired Points
1 to 101
11 to 132
14 to 163
17 to 194
20 or more5

Note: When the value of the ability is between 1 and 10, only one point is required to raise the ability by one. When it is between 11 and 13, two points are required.

Assigning Troops

Each race has seven types of soldiers (units) available to it, and these can be conscripted at a Barracks. Conscripted units can then be assigned to a hero. The higher a unit's level, the stronger it will be in battle. Also, the higher the level of the hero, the more units that the hero can command. Assigning a unit with magical attacks to a magical attack-type hero will make that unit even stronger. Similarly, assigning a unit with physical attacks to a physical attack-type hero will be the most effective choice.

Equipment

A hero can obtain equipment by attacking places such as Devil Castles, or by hunting. Equipment improves a hero's abilities, as well as those of the units he or she commands. Equipping every part of an armor set (all five items) will give a hero special abilities.

Resurrecting Heroes

When a hero's Life reaches 0 and he or she dies, you can revive that hero at the Tavern. However, the time required to revive the hero gets longer the higher the hero's level is.

Discharging Heroes

If you decide you don't like a hero that you have hired, you can discharge him or her. However, this is only possible for heroes that are Level 10 or lower.
